Industria 4.0 designa la quarta rivoluzione industriale; simboleggia l\u2019integrazione di nuove tecnologie nell\u2019automazione industriale al fine di migliorare le condizioni di lavoro e potenziare la produttivit\u00e0 e la qualit\u00e0 produttiva degli impianti.<\/p>\n

La quarta rivoluzione industriale non \u00e8 un oggetto tecnologico da realizzare ma un processo che porter\u00e0 alla produzione industriale del tutto automatizzata e interconnessa.
\nI cardini intorno ai quali ruota la digitalizzazione possono essere processati in quattro punti:<\/p>\n

Industry 4.0, called also “smart factory”, represents the integration of new technologies in industrial automation in order to improve working conditions and increase the productivity and production quality of plants.
\nThe fourth industrial revolution is not a technological “object” to be realized but a process that will lead to completely automated and interlinked industrial production.
\nThe hinges around which digitisation rotates can be summarised in four development guides:<\/p>\n

\n1) the use of data to create value, computing power and connectivity. Terms such as big data, open data, IoT (Internet of Things), M2M (machine-to-machine) and cloud computing for centralizing and storing data.
\n2) the process of analysing the gathered data (Analytics) to obtain the information; the automatic learning of the machines that perfect their performance through the acquisition of the gathered and analysed data.
